Java Web Start is installed at DESY.
If it is not installed centrally on your machine,
you need to install it personnally from your local Java installation,
which is quite easy, if you :
- Find the file javaws-*.zipfile in your Java directory
(which java, typically in the subdirectoryjre/).
- Copy it to your directory and extract it (unzip).
- Execute the install.shfile.
 (Just type./install.sh.)
- Eventually close your browser. Then open your browser.
- Get back to this page and click on the pointer

 above.
If your Java version is older, then you need to download it from the
Java Web Start
 page at Sun.Com.
